Barista
As the Barista at our Green Hills Residential Care Service, you’ll deliver high‑quality barista services that support Fresh Hope Communities’ café and community engagement goals. Reporting to the Home Experience Manager, you’ll help create café spaces that are welcoming, well‑presented and encourage meaningful connection for residents, families, advocates and staff.
- Permanent - Part Time, 24 hours per week position.

What you'll be doing

Set up and present café areas so they are welcoming, organised and service‑ready

Prepare and serve consistently high‑quality coffee to suit customer preferences

Deliver warm, friendly and respectful service that supports connection and community

Create an inviting café experience for residents, families, advocates and staff

Maintain café standards including cleanliness, food safety, menus, pricing labels, seating, décor and stock levels

Follow safe work practices to ensure café spaces are clean, safe and compliant

Work collaboratively with the Café Assistant, Kitchen Team and Homemaker Team

Model Fresh Hope Communities’ values through positive personal leadership and everyday interactions
The Essentials
- Experience as a Barista or in a café/hospitality environment

Coffee making or café‑related certification (desirable)

Friendly, customer‑centred approach with strong communication skills

Ability to work well as part of a team in a residential care setting

Comfortable with the moderate physical requirements of the role
Current Criminal History Check suitable for aged care (or willingness to obtain)
