What you'll do
As the Operations Specialist, you will ensure the delivery of reliable and effective enterprise systems across Queensland Health by providing high-level technical expertise in analysing complex IT issues and developing practical solutions and improvements. You will work closely with teams across the branch to build and maintain strong working relationships that support the alignment and integration of operational services, processes and service levels. Drawing on best-practice service management approaches, preferably within an ITIL framework, you will contribute to change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and business continuity activities to support high-quality, end-to-end service delivery.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / test / change and configuration management. (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 4, CHMG Level 4, CFMG Level 3, TEST Level 4)
Demonstrated expertise and technical skills in one or more of the following: (SFIA: TECH Level 5) Webb Apps: Contemporary operating languages incl .Net, C# and Blazor, Application support, and the Implementation and performance tuning of code
Provide high level of technical expertise to provide technical direction, standardisation, professional advice and support of enterprise infrastructure in a large customer focus organisation. (SFIA: ITOP Level 4, TECH Level 5)
Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
