About This Role
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of
the store, driving sales performance, and ensuring high standards across all aspects of
the business.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Manage daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient performance
2. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
3. Monitor stock levels, coordinate purchasing, and manage inventory (with a focus on
minimising waste of perishable goods)
4. Oversee pricing, merchandising, and product displays to maximise sales
5. Recruit, train, and supervise staff to build a strong and capable team
6. Prepare and manage staff rosters to ensure effective coverage
7. Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer concerns professionally
8. Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, and hygiene regulations
9. Analyse sales data, financial performance, and market trends to inform decisions
10. Manage budgets, control expenses, and implement cost-saving measures
11. Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing and delivery schedules
12. Plan and execute marketing and promotional activities
13. Maintain store security and oversee loss prevention strategies
What We're Looking For
1. Demonstrated experience managing retail operations (fresh produce or supermarket
preferred)
2. Knowledge of WHS and food safety standards
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Familiarity with POS systems and retail software
5. Experience in fresh food, fruit & vegetable, or supermarket retail
6. Experience in marketing and promotions
