Foam Technologies is looking for a reliable and experienced CNC Hot Wire Operator to join our growing EPS foam manufacturing team in Bibra Lake.
This is a part-time role suited to someone with experience operating CNC hot-wire or similar cutting equipment in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
About the role:
You will be operating our CNC hot-wire cutting machines to cut EPS foam blocks into custom shapes for construction, mining, architectural and industrial projects.
Duties will include:
- Operating CNC hot-wire foam cutting machines
- Setting up jobs from drawings, DXF files or cutting instructions
- Loading and unloading foam blocks
- Reading drawings and nesting parts efficiently
- Ensuring clean, accurate and high-quality cuts
- Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Assisting with general production tasks when required
- Working safely in a busy factory environment
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 1 year experience with CNC hot-wire or similar cutting equipment
- CAD or AutoCAD experience would be highly regarded
- Ability to read drawings and work from files or job instructions
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work as part of a team
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Australian work rights
Hours:
7:30am – 4:00pm
24 to 32 Hours on offer per week

Pay:
Competitive pay, with overtime opportunities available.
Some training will be provided for the right person.
