Job Description
Cairns Private Hospital is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheter Laboratory team. Permanent part-time positions are available, offering an exciting opportunity to progress your career within a highly specialised and rewarding clinical setting.
This role is ideal for experienced Theatre or Recovery Nurses, as well as Registered Nurses keen to develop advanced skills in cardiac care. Our Cardiac Catheter Laboratory sits at the heart of the hospital and is supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team delivering a broad range of interventional cardiology services, including structural heart and electrophysiology procedures.
Working closely with leading cardiologists and cardiac anaesthetists, you will contribute to exceptional patient outcomes and make a meaningful difference every day.
About You
You are a positive, motivated, and adaptable team member who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
You will also bring:

Current registration with AHPRA.

Experience in critical care, cardiac catheter laboratory, or cardiology nursing.

Recent Cardiac Catheter Laboratory experience preferred, but not essential.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional late finishes.

Availability for on-call and weekend coverage as required.

A strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and professional excellence.
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8).
