About Us:
Blue Peak Constructions is a respected entity dedicated to improving our community through local council infrastructure projects. Based in Springvale, our work is mainly in the south east region of Melbourne including roads, drainage, carparks, streetscapes and more.
We are seeking a proficient Civil worker to join our team. If you possess a minimum of 1 years of experience in civil construction on local council projects, with concreting, asphalt, drainage and truck driving experience (desirable), we invite you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain excavators for a variety of local council projects.
- Utilize your experience to complete tasks efficiently and according to project specifications.
- Experience in concreting work is desirable but not mandatory.
- A truck driver's license is desirable but not mandatory.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and council regulations on-site.
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and goals.
- Keep accurate records of work completed and hours worked.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in civil construction on local council projects.
- Local council project experience is preferable.
- Experience in concreting work is desirable.
- A truck driver's license is desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of excavator operations, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.
- Physical fitness and adaptability to various weather conditions.
- Commitment to safety and high attention to detail.
