Yarra Plenty Waves, a vibrant community organisation dedicated to fostering a lifelong love of swimming, is searching for an enthusiastic Assistant Swim Coach to join our team!
About the Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality swim instruction in accordance with our program guidelines and industry standards.
- Creating and implementing your own training programs aligned with the Head Coach's overall plan.
- Working collaboratively with the coaching staff to ensure a positive and productive team environment.
- Providing a safe and supportive environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities.
- Maintaining open communication with swimmers, parents, and coaching staff.
We are looking for someone who:
- Possesses a strong swimming background and coaching experience.
- Holds current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and water safety.
- Has excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Is passionate about creating a positive and motivating learning environment.
- Is reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling demands.
