The Property Infrastructure and Electrification Branch is seeking a highly capable Principal Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects and programs and provide strategic leadership across a multidisciplinary portfolio.
A key focus of the role will be supporting the delivery of the Electrification of Government Gas Assets Program, a significant initiative that will contribute to the ACT Government's sustainability and emissions reduction objectives. The successful applicant will provide strategic project and program leadership across the planning, development and delivery phases of the program, including coordinating stakeholders, managing risks and dependencies, development and refinement of business cases and ensuring successful project/program outcomes.
The Branch is responsible for the procurement and delivery of construction and trade services that support the management, renewal and transformation of ACT Government-owned properties. Our work spans a broad range of initiatives, including:

Small to medium-scale construction and capital works projects

The ACT Cladding Rectification Program

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Mandatory:

Hold a relevant professional qualification or accreditation with a professional body recognised within Australia; or

Hold a relevant building degree; or
-
Have significant building or Infrastructure knowledge and/or project management experience.
Desirable:
Hold or willingness to obtain the following National Accreditations:

General Construction Induction Card (White Card).

10830NAT - Course in Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention.
-
80803ACT, 10314NAT, 10675NAT, or 11084NAT - Course in Asbestos Awareness.

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
