About the Role
Reporting to the Manager Operations Support, the Smile Squad Claims and Client Care Officer provides administrative and client support to the Smile Squad program. This role contributes to the achievement of key performance indicators and supports the delivery of free dental care services to Victorian government primary, specialist, and secondary school students.
Your responsibilities will include:

Process and submit Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) claims and reconciliations.

Maintain accurate client records and data integrity within Smile Squad systems.

Process Smile Squad specialist referrals and coordinate with parents and specialists
-
Coordinate Medicare claiming, payment adjustments, and invoice processing.

Support patient registration, consent management, and referral administration.

Liaise with community dental agencies, clinicians, and Medicare to ensure compliance and accurate client information.

Guide clients through their care journey and provide responsive customer service.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support effective triage, referrals, and service delivery.
About you:

Strong customer service and client care skills.
-
Experience managing client enquiries via phone and email, with a focus on building positive relationships.

Ability to handle client concerns and complaints professionally and empathetically.

Knowledge of client management systems, including Titanium (or similar).

Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proven ability to build rapport and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
