POSITION PURPOSE
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily floor operations to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate execution of inbound and outbound warehouse activities. This role focuses on hands-on supervision of the warehouse team, supporting inventory management, inbound, staff training, and forklift compliance to maintain smooth and compliant warehouse operations.

LOCATION REQUIREMENT
This is an onsite role based in QLD, Australia. Candidates must currently reside in QLD, Australia.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise daily floor operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound activities within the HKT operation.
- Manage inventory stock accuracy and oversee put away processes to ensure correct product placement and efficient use of warehouse space.
- Supervise and coordinate the container unpack crew, ensuring safe and efficient unloading processes and providing hands-on support as a picker backup when required.
- Execute daily system tasks including Goods Issue (GI) confirmations and dispatch management using the Cello platform, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Conduct new employee inductions and on-the-job training to ensure team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform their roles safely and effectively.
- Manage forklift operations and maintain forklift checklists to ensure equipment compliance, safety, and readiness in accordance with relevant standards.
- Lead safety discussions on the warehouse floor to reinforce compliance, safe work practices, and team engagement.
- Support the Warehouse Manager with floor-level operational needs, escalating issues as required and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations, ideally in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Practical understanding of warehouse floor operations, including inventory management, put away processes, container unpacking, and picking activities.
- Experience supervising warehouse teams, including task allocation, on-the-job coaching, and new employee induction and training.
- Working knowledge of warehouse management systems, with demonstrated ability to perform GI and dispatch processes using the Cello.
- Valid forklift license with demonstrated experience in safe forklift operation and maintaining equipment inspection checklists.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct, support, and motivate frontline warehouse staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of workplace safety protocols, enforce PPE requirements, and identify and address safety hazards on the warehouse floor.
- Proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify operational issues on the floor and resolve them promptly and effectively.
- High attention to detail and process discipline, ensuring accurate stock handling, checklist compliance, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Supporting the Warehouse Manager with daily operational needs.
Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
