About the role
Permanent full-time opportunity to join the Statewide Pelvic Exenteration Service as a Registrar/Senior Registrar (Fellow) in General Surgery. You will coordinate patient pathways, support multidisciplinary planning, and deliver clinical care across colorectal and exenteration surgery, while contributing to teaching, research, and quality improvement within a leading tertiary service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide inpatient and outpatient services in General Surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and STARS
Assist in organising outpatient clinics, waiting lists and operating lists for maximum efficiency.
Play an active part in undergraduate and postgraduate training in General Surgery.
Participate in the development and continuing operation of quality assurance activities.
