We are seeking a Campus Student Support Assistant to join our Albury campus on a part time (0.6 FTE), fixed term contract, commencing in Term 1, 2027.
This role will provide support to students across both Primary and Secondary year levels but will predominately include dedicated support for a female student who requires personal care assistance. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly across the campus and provide support to other students as required.

As a Campus Student Support Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Collaboration with LST: Willingness to work under direction, providing consistency and reinforcement of strategies developed by the Learning Support Teacher.
- Student-centred practice: Strong commitment to dignity, respect, and unconditional positive regard in day-to-day interactions.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt support across academic, social, and self-care contexts.
- Professional learning mindset: Openness to training in key programs and strategies (e.g., Zones of Regulation, structured literacy).
- Support for release: Reliability and organisational skills to enable the Learning Support Teacher to use planning/release time effectively.
- Personal care and dignity: Ability to provide respectful support tailored to student needs, following student care plans, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding the student’s dignity at all times.
- Communication supports: Understanding of AAC, visuals, and strategies for supporting expressive/receptive language.
