Catholic Early EdCare is seeking an enthusiastic and caring casual Educator to join our team at Christ the King Outside School Hours Care in Deception Bay, caring for up to 45 children. This is a casual role of approximately 15 hours per week, working before and after school and during vacation care.
You'll be working right in the heart of the school community, with access to a range of fantastic spaces — including a dedicated OSHC room, spacious oval, library, hall, and covered outdoor areas. It's the ideal setting for active, hands-on programs where children can explore, connect, and thrive.
As part of our team, you'll help create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel supported and inspired. You'll assist in planning and delivering engaging activities, preparing nutritious snacks, and maintaining a clean, welcoming space — all while building meaningful connections and making every day enjoyable for the children in your care.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator…

Job Requirements:
- Hold (or are working towards) a Diploma or Certificate III in Children's Services or an ACECQA equivalent qualification (desirable)
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
- Willingness to step into an Educational Leader or Responsible Person in Charge (RPIC) role as required
