We're looking for an experienced and well-connected leader to establish and grow our Victorian Energy capability. This is an opportunity to combine your industry expertise, client relationships and consulting experience with the backing of one of Australia's leading independent project management and advisory consultancies.
You'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, work directly with clients, grow a market-leading capability and help establish TSA Riley as a trusted advisor within Victoria's rapidly evolving energy sector.
About the Role
This is much more than a leadership position.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, solving complex challenges and building trusted relationships that create long-term value.
You'll continue to be actively involved in client engagements while helping grow our Energy capability across Victoria. We believe the strongest businesses are built through outstanding client outcomes, so your leadership will come through influence, collaboration and delivery—not simply through business development.
Working alongside our national Advisory, Project Management, Commercial, Cost Management, ESG, Systems Engineering and Asset Management teams, you'll help clients navigate some of Australia's most significant energy infrastructure programs while contributing to the continued growth of our business.
What you'll be doing
As our Victorian Energy Sector Lead, you'll:
- Build trusted relationships with government, utilities, developers, investors, contractors and delivery partners across Victoria's energy sector.
- Provide strategic advice on major energy infrastructure programs and capital investment initiatives.
- Lead or contribute to complex advisory engagements from planning through to delivery.
- Identify opportunities and help shape winning proposals and pursuit strategies.
- Grow TSA Riley's Energy capability by mentoring people, developing service offerings and contributing to recruitment.
- Collaborate across our national business to bring together multidisciplinary teams that deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.
- Represent TSA Riley within the industry through networking, market engagement and thought leadership.
Our Energy Advisory Capability
We're looking for someone who brings experience across one or more of the following areas and is excited by the opportunity to help grow these services within Victoria:
- Capital investment and infrastructure advisory
- Project and program management
- Project development and delivery
- Commercial and procurement advisory
- Strategic asset management
- Infrastructure planning and governance
- Business cases and investment planning
- PMO and project controls
- Contract and commercial management
- Stakeholder engagement and communications
- Construction assurance and delivery advisory
Whether your experience has been gained within consulting, government, utilities, major projects or the private sector, we'd love to hear how you've helped clients solve complex infrastructure challenges.
About You
You may already be leading an Energy practice or sector. Or perhaps you're an experienced Associate Director, Technical Director, Project Director or Principal Consultant looking for the opportunity to take the next step in your career.
Either way, we're looking for someone who:
- Has established relationships across Victoria's energy sector.
- Enjoys working directly with clients and becoming their trusted advisor.
- Understands the challenges and opportunities created by Australia's energy transition.
- Has experience developing client relationships and contributing to business growth.
- Brings commercial awareness together with strong consulting or infrastructure experience.
