Grill Chef - Join our Kitchen Team
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Grill Chef to join our busy hospitality team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook steaks, seafood, and other grill menu items to a high standard.
- Operate and maintain grills, ovens, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including mains, side dishes, and specialty menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Complete daily food preparation and miss en place for service.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering when required.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team during service.
- Ensure consistency in presentation, portion control, and quality.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and kitchen standards.
About You:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar grill chef position.
- Strong knowledge of cooking temperatures and meat preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Understanding of food safety and HACCP principles.
