# NDIS WORKER SCREENING CHECK MANDATORY
Private House Cleaners provide essential home‑care cleaning services to individuals who require assistance maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
Workers attend client homes to complete scheduled domestic cleaning tasks and must complete a completion note after each job.
This role is ideal for cleaners who enjoy flexible hours, working independently, and supporting vulnerable members of the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general house cleaning tasks including:
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Cleaning toilets and bathrooms
- Wiping surfaces, dusting, and basic home hygiene tasks
- Provide services in client homes independently and professionally
- Follow the cleaning scope provided by coordination staff
- Complete a shift completion note after every service
- Maintain respect, confidentiality, and dignity for all clients
- Identify and report hazards, risks, or concerns
- Communicate promptly with the office regarding attendance, job issues, or client changes.
Conditions & Allowances
- Hourly Rate: $32.56/hour (SCHADS award rate)
- PPE Allowance: Provided for eligible tasks
- Inter‑shift Travel: Paid at base hourly rate (when travelling between client homes as per roster)
- Shift Bonuses: Additional payments may apply when specific conditions are met (e.g., remote areas, urgent services, high‑priority needs)
- KM reimbursement may apply where approved
- All equipment and PPE must be used safely and responsibly
Pay: From $32.56 per hour
