Render Delivery Driver – Crane Truck
Location: Yatala, QLD
Hours: Monday–Friday, 5:00am–2:00pm
Start: 5:00am | Deliveries commence from 5:30am
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Render Delivery Driver – Crane Truck to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving delivery of render and building materials to customers and job sites, as well as warehouse duties before and after deliveries.
The successful applicant will be responsible for safely operating a crane truck, unloading materials onsite and assisting with the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a crane truck to deliver render, cladding and building materials to customer sites.
- Unload materials onsite using the crane truck.
- Complete deliveries efficiently and professionally from approximately 5:30am each morning.
- Load and secure customer orders onto trucks and utes using a forklift.
- Prepare and pack orders.
- Load the delivery truck each afternoon in preparation for the following morning.
- Move and organise stock throughout the warehouse.
- Monitor stock levels and advise when stock is running low.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised warehouse, including sweeping floors and general housekeeping.
- Assist customers with loading and collection of orders when required.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Complete general warehouse and yard duties as required.
- Keeping the truck clean, tidy and well-presented at all times.
Requirements
- Current MR Licence or Above – Essential.
- Experience driving a crane truck and unloading materials onsite – Preferred but not essential - Full training will be provided on crane operation.
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to safely lift, move and handle building materials.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual, reliable and physically fit for a hands-on role.
- Current Forklift Licence – Preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, building supplies or construction-related environment.
- Knowledge of render, cladding or building products is advantageous but not essential.
