We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Senior Stockpersons to join our team at Bonnie Doon Piggery. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term career with a progressive agricultural business that values its people and provides opportunities for growth and development.
As a Senior Stockperson, you will be responsible for the daily care and management of livestock while ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, farm performance, and biosecurity are maintained.
You will work closely with the farm leadership team and play an important role in supporting daily operations, mentoring team members, and contributing to the ongoing success of the farm.
- Daily care and monitoring of livestock
- Conducting animal health observations and reporting concerns
- Administering treatments as directed
- Monitoring feed and water systems
- Maintaining animal welfare standards
- Supporting breeding and production activities
- Accurate record keeping and data collection
- Maintaining site cleanliness and biosecurity protocols
- Assisting with training and mentoring team members
- Following all workplace health and safety requirements
Monday to Friday
Every Third Weekend
- Saturday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
- Sunday: 7:00am – 1:00pm

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in a piggery or intensive livestock environment
- Current Australian Driver's License
- Strong understanding of animal husbandry and welfare practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to workplace safety and biosecurity standards
- Reliable, motivated, and hardworking attitude
