About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Store Manager to support the day-to-day operations at Fulcrum Suspensions Stafford.
Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll help keep the store, customer service, sales, and workshop operations running smoothly while developing your leadership skills and stepping up to support the team when required.
In this role, you’ll:
Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store and step up as 2IC when required.
Deliver exceptional service to retail, trade, and fleet customers.
Support sales through customer enquiries, quotations, bookings, recommendations, and follow-up.
Help coordinate workshop bookings, job flow, and communication between customers and technicians.
Lead by example and provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
Assist with stock control, inventory, and ensuring parts are available for scheduled workshop jobs.
Help maintain a safe, organised, and professional store and workshop environment.
About You
You could be a perfect fit if you:
Have experience in automotive, retail, trade, workshop, customer service, or store operations.
Are ready to take the next step into leadership, or already have experience as a 2IC, Supervisor, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager.
Have strong customer service and communication skills and enjoy helping customers find the right solution.
Are confident supporting sales, quotations, bookings, and customer follow-up.
Can stay organised and manage competing priorities in a busy store and workshop environment.
Enjoy supporting others, leading by example, and getting hands-on when the team needs you.
Have automotive knowledge or experience in suspension, steering, 4x4, tyres, mechanical, or automotive accessories – highly regarded.
