About the company: Fabinox is a solid and respected company doing great and innovative things in the Sydney market. We deliver various Fit out/Refurb projects to a high standard for a repeat-client base and are striving toward some big and exciting years ahead.
The Company is seeking a confident, Project Coordinator who will be working alongside the Project Manager, Designers and Operations staff. This role would suit someone with a trade background who has worked their way through the ranks and has a sound knowledge and understanding involved of the fabrication and welding industry and in delivering projects on time and on budget.
As a Project Coordinator, you will be providing planning and scheduling support and act as the interface between the project delivery teams and Fabinox clients.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procurement and invoicing support including invoicing allocation, receipting, raising of purchase orders and jobs
Managing contractual requirements of each project in line with company policy and procedures
Submitting monthly client progress claims in a timely manner and in strict accordance with the contract
Managing paperwork associated with contracts, programs, projects and services provided Identify
Identify schedule risks and communicate them to the key stakeholders, including recommendations for mitigating actions where possible.
Working with Project Managers, Architects, Engineering Professionals, owners and others to ensure that goals are met
Overseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations to work orders
Preparing and reviewing submissions and reports concerning the organisation's activities
Collecting and analysing data associated with projects undertaken, and reporting on project outcomes
Contribute to the successful delivery of projects, considering time and budget
Track assigned projects through their lifecycle (from initial lead through to project closure).
Build and maintain client relationships
Scheduling of trades and coordinating all aspects of current projects
Hold toolbox meetings with contractors and ensure site WHS standards are met
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
At least 3 years commercial fabrication experience
Trade background with relevant experience will be considered highly
Highly Analytical
Ability to think outside the box
Strong Project Management, communication and administration skills
Strong IT proficiency – including MS Office applications
Experience of working in a Consultancy / Client-facing environment
Salary
$80,000 - $90,000
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
