Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages with exceptional presentation
- An accessible and empathetic communicator who values building a positive work environment through leading, training, and mentoring a team of baristas
- Create visually appealing café and latte art beverages
- Clear and wipe down tables, run food and drinks to tables, and restock front displays
- Maintain a high standard clean and organised workspace
- Jump willingly between coffee, floor service, retail, food service, cleaning and other café duties
- Take ownership when something goes wrong and help find a solution
- Support opening, closing and general café operations
- Manage inventory and place orders for supplies if required or trained
Qualification and Skills:
- Proven experience (at least 2 years) as a Barista in a busy setting
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment
- Friendly and welcoming personality with strong people skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for the coffee industry is a must!
