The role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Development Analyst to join our Logistics portfolio, playing a key role in shaping how we grow and deliver our development pipeline.
In this role, you will be at the heart of our Logistics Development and Investment Management teams, producing and maintaining robust development feasibilities that drive critical decisions across land acquisition, master-planning, and project delivery. You will also contribute to investment papers, project control groups, and financial reporting including budgeting and forecasting, giving you broad exposure across the full development lifecycle.
What you will be doing
Manage and maintain development feasibility models for logistics developments and acquisitions, including capex forecasting, KPI tables, model inputs, benchmarking, and financial schedules for Investment Committee
Build and maintain relationships across Development, Investment, Asset Management, and Capital Transactions teams, providing financial support across budget setup, expenditure monitoring, and attendance at key governance forums including Development Review Panels, Executive Review Groups, and Project Control Groups
Oversee capex reporting for month-end, valuations, and forecasts, including monthly accruals, book value movements, PCG progress reports, and QuadReal cash call notices
Support the preparation of Investment Committee and Board papers, including tenant lease summaries, cashflow analysis, and development fee analysis, as well as half-yearly financial reporting and external audit enquiries
Drive continuous improvement in development finance operations, leading process reviews of forecasting and feasibility assessments, and supporting teams with asset plans, investment summaries, budgets, and forecasts
Mentor and support more junior team members
What makes you stand out
You will bring hands-on development or property experience with a strong understanding of development fundamentals, paired with proven financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting capabilities. You will be a confident communicator and skilled relationship builder, comfortable engaging and influencing stakeholders across the business, managing competing priorities, and always looking for smarter ways of working.
Degree in Commerce or equivalent, with CA or CPA membership (or working towards)
Strong understanding of property and development fundamentals, particularly within the logistics sector
Strong Excel cashflow modelling and financial analysis skills
Proven capability in building effective reports and managing forecasting processes
Excellent business and commercial acumen
Strong relationship building and communication skills
Proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work effectively in dynamic and ambiguous environments
