Are you a passionate Registered or Enrolled Nurse who loves developing others and making a real difference? Fortify Health Group is looking for an experienced Nurse Educator to help build a skilled, confident, and capable workforce through Fortify Health Academy.
This full-time role is based across Fortify Health Group’s Coomera and Springwood offices, with travel to various training locations as required. A company vehicle is not provided; work-related kilometres are reimbursed in accordance with Fortify Health Group policy.
What You’ll Do

Report to the Head of Care Services, this role supports workforce capability by delivering evidence-based clinical education, competency assessments, and practical training aligned with NDIS High Intensity Support Skills Descriptors, participant care requirements, and organisational clinical governance standards.
- Deliver accredited and non-accredited clinical training through Fortify Health Academy and, where required, in collaboration with external providers.
- Facilitate skills-based training in areas such as First Aid, CPR, medication management, IDC/SPC support, seizure management, diabetes care, high-intensity supports, and individualised participant training.
- Maintain high-quality training delivery through current clinical knowledge, participant safety considerations, learner feedback, and continuous improvement processes.
- Develop, review, and maintain clinical training content, learning resources, training packages, competency assessment tools, and competency frameworks.
- Complete and maintain training records, competency assessments, observations, and sign-offs to confirm staff capability before delegated clinical tasks are implemented in practice.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, confidence, safe practice, and continuous professional development.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and practical support to learners to promote skill development and quality care delivery.
- Work collaboratively with operational and clinical teams to ensure training supports workforce capability, compliance obligations, and participant safety.
- Support compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, the NDIS Code of Conduct, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia standards, AHPRA registration requirements, and Fortify Health Group policies and procedures.
About You

Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
- Current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Demonstrated experience in community, disability, or acute nursing.
- Strong understanding of NDIS High Intensity Supports and safe clinical delegation.
- Ability to deliver engaging training and education to adult learners.
- High-level communication, interpersonal, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to training locations as required.
