Responsibilities and duties
- Create and develop technical drawings, plans, and schematics for various electrical installations and circuit systems.
- Collaborate with team members in planning and arranging electrical layouts for related components.
- Conduct testing by gathering data, and perform calculations, and do analysis.
- Estimate material requirements, project budgeting and resource planning.
- Examine designs and products to verify adherence to specifications, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Install, test, modify, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Handle electrical workshop tasks, including setting up protective relay assemblies, metering devices, and indicators.
- Support research and experimental initiatives to drive improvements and advancements in electrical engineering solutions.
Relevant Qualifications and Experience
- Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma is preferred. Or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience is required.
