About your role
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) - Endoscopy, you'll provide advanced clinical expertise while leading improvements in patient care, service delivery and clinical governance.
In this role you will:
Provide advanced clinical leadership across Endoscopy Services.
Coordinate and optimise Endoscopy patient waitlist management.
Lead evidence-based practice, quality improvement and service redesign.
Support Nurse Led Clinics and patient education initiatives.
Mentor, coach and develop nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams.
Monitor service performance, activity targets and key performance indicators.
Develop and review clinical policies, procedures and work instructions.
Collaborate with Metro South and statewide Endoscopy networks.
Drive innovation to improve patient access, safety and clinical outcomes.
Champion person-centred care across the Endoscopy service.
About you
You're an experienced Endoscopy clinician with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
You'll bring:
Significant Endoscopy and Gastroenterology nursing experience.
Advanced clinical assessment and critical decision-making skills.
Strong understanding of GESIS and contemporary Endoscopy practice.
Experience leading quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to manage Endoscopy waitlists and performance targets.
Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience mentoring, coaching and educating nursing teams.
Ability to influence change across multidisciplinary environments.
Commitment to research, innovation and continuous service improvement.
