In Home Care Educator – New Brighton
Northern Rivers In Home Care is seeking a caring and reliable educator to provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate care for a 3-year-old child, with the role transitioning to include care for an infant when the older child attends preschool. This is a rewarding long-term opportunity for an educator who is confident in providing calm, responsive, and nurturing in home care, while supporting each child’s individual developmental needs. The role will operate within a shared care model alongside a second educator.
Hours:
- Thursday: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Rate: $41.60 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, nurturing, and stimulating care
- Support play-based learning and developmental activities
- Encourage curiosity, exploration, and social skills
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment
- Communicate effectively with the family
- Document daily observations, routines, and milestones
What You will Bring:
- Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- First Aid & CPR (HLTAID012 and HLTAID009)
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Check (within 6 months)
- Public Liability Insurance
- Medical clearance confirming fitness to work with children
- Child Protection Training (we can enrol you if needed)
- ABN and PRODA Registration
- Completion of ACECQA In Home Care eLearning modules
- Reliable, professional, and genuinely passionate about working with children
