Practice Nurse / Enrolled Nurse (GP Clinic) – Coburg North VIC

Doctors of Coburg North is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our friendly and professional team on a Permanent Part-Time basis.
We are a busy, fully accredited bulk-billing general practice providing comprehensive healthcare services to our local community. Our clinic operates 7 days per week from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Position Details
Regular Shifts:
- Tuesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Wednesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Additional shifts may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management activities
- Assisting with GP Management Plans (GPMPs) and Team Care Arrangements (TCAs)
- Patient education, recalls, and preventative health initiatives
- Childhood, Adult, and Travel Vaccinations
- Wound Care and Dressings
- Assisting GPs with procedures and treatment room management
- ECGs, Spirometry, and other clinical nursing duties
- Infection control and cold chain management
- Monitoring and maintaining medical stock and supplies
- Ensuring accurate clinical documentation and patient records
Essential Criteria
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN)
- Previous experience working in an Australian General Practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current CPR Certificate
- High level of organisational and time management skills
Desirable Criteria
- Experience using Best Practice Software
- Nurse Immuniser Certification
- Experience with Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments
- Experience with Childhood and Adult Immunisations
