Pathways Residences is a luxury Residential Aged Care provider. We are currently looking for a sous chef to join our catering team around North Sydney area (Killara, Northbridge and Lane Cove).
This is a permanent part-time position, 37.5 hours and 5 days a week, regular shifts scheduled from Wednesday to Sunday.
Our chefs are responsible for the delivery of quality food to residents. Chefs ensure high standards in food preparation and presentation, efficient and timely food delivery and cleanliness of the kitchen. Our staff must meet Aged Care and Hospitality standards.
Skills and experience
The applicant must have:
- Certificate IV in commercial cookery
- Working in aged or health care an advantage
- Good practice in WHS, food safety, Infection Control, complaints handling
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Good time management
- Creative culinary skills
- Computer literacy an advantage
All prospective employees are required to provide the following documentation:
- Police Check
- NDIS Worker Clearance
- 3 doses of Covid-19 and Flu Vaccine
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
