Job Description:
At Schneider Electric, we partner with transportation organisations to deliver smarter, more sustainable and more resilient infrastructure. From rail networks and airports to roads, tunnels, ports and EV infrastructure, our technologies help customers enhance operational performance, improve energy efficiency and support the transition to a more connected future.
We're seeking a senior Strategic Account Executive to lead and grow relationships across Australia's transportation sector. This is not a technical sales role. We're looking for a commercially minded relationship builder who can engage senior decision-makers, understand customer challenges, and position Schneider Electric as a trusted long-term partner.
Working with some of Australia's largest transportation end users and infrastructure operators, you'll identify and shape strategic opportunities, influence major investment programs, and bring together Schneider Electric's broad portfolio of solutions to help solve customer challenges.
What you'll be doing
-
Develop and grow executive-level relationships across transportation end users, operators and key industry stakeholders
-
Create and execute strategic account plans aligned to customer priorities and long-term market opportunities
-
Act as the voice of the customer, bringing insight and market intelligence back into the business
-
Identify, shape and progress complex opportunities across transportation infrastructure programs
-
Position Schneider Electric early in customer planning, investment and development activities
-
Lead account strategy and coordinate internal teams to deliver integrated customer solutions
-
Support major pursuits, tenders and long-term infrastructure programs through effective stakeholder engagement
-
Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, investment pipelines and emerging transportation priorities
-
Drive strategic account governance, pipeline management and executive reporting
(External) English Qualifications:
About you

-
Experience working with transportation, mobility, infrastructure, utilities or similarly complex customer environments
-
Demonstrated success building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
-
Great commercial acumen and the ability to navigate long sales cycles and large-scale opportunities
-
Skilled at influencing across matrix organisations and bringing teams together around a common customer strategy
-
A natural relationship builder who is curious, credible and customer-focused
-
Experience working with transportation authorities, rail operators, airports, ports, road networks or other major infrastructure owners will be highly regarded.
This role will have a national remit, with regular travel across Australia and occasional travel to New Zealand to support customer engagement and business growth opportunities.
If you're passionate about building meaningful customer partnerships, shaping strategic opportunities and helping deliver the next generation of transportation infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and join Schneider Electric in creating a more connected, efficient and sustainable future.
