Officeworks is seeking a highly experienced, high performing Business Development lead to drive new B2B customer acquisition regionally.
This is a pure hunter role focused on identifying, engaging and winning high profile, new business opportunities at the most strategic of levels. You'll be responsible for cultivating your own pipeline, opening doors with prospective customers, liaising at the C level, and converting opportunities into long-term commercial partnerships.

What you’ll do:
- New Business Hunting: Identify, target and win new customers through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, outbound activity and strategic account targeting. You are constantly looking for opportunities to open new doors and create demand.
- Master Negotiator: Take the lead in high-stakes negotiations, driving deals to a successful close with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness. You'll be the catalyst for turning opportunities into long-term business partnerships.
- Lead Complex Sales Opportunities: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and close. Engage multiple stakeholders, including procurement teams, operational leaders and C-suite executives.
- Pipeline Excellence: Be relentless in your pursuit of measurable improvements across all stages of the sales pipeline. You’ll continually refine the volume, value, accuracy, and win rates of leads and opportunities, leveraging Salesforce to ensure a top-tier performance.
