Salary package: $81,296 - $87,954 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, 1 x Continuing and 1 Fixed term (until February 2027)
Position overview
Information Technology Services (ITS) provides corporate IT services to ANU staff, students and visitors in support of achieving excellence in research, teaching and public policy. These services include network, communications, computing platforms, data storage, desktop and mobile access, enterprise systems, student learning environments, and IT security. The work of ITS is coordinated with services provided within and by University Colleges and other Service Divisions to form a cohesive, University-wide information services infrastructure.
The IT Service Desk provides ongoing technical and business support to the entire ANU community, including staff, students, and academics. The Service Desk is the first point of contact for all incidents and requests logged by the University.
The IT Service Desk is responsible for system and software support and management, and currently supports over 2,500 computing devices. The Service Desk officer is responsible for providing client-focused technical support for desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals used at ANU. An integral part of this role is acting as the first point of contact for IT-related support in a Service Desk environment.
