Love hospitality, good food, great drinks, and creating memorable experiences? We're looking for a hands-on Duty Manager to help lead the team at Suburban Rooftop & Dining.
As a Duty Manager, you'll be one of the go-to people on shift, helping everything run smoothly while keeping the atmosphere fun, welcoming, and professional. You'll support the team, look after our guests, and jump in wherever needed.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the team during service and setting the pace for the shift.
- Delivering friendly, genuine customer service and making sure every guest has a great experience.
- Opening and closing the venue.
- Supervising the floor, bar, and dining areas.
- Supporting and motivating the team while leading by example.
- Handling customer enquiries, feedback, and the occasional tricky situation with confidence.
- Coordinating bookings and helping manage the flow of service.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Making sure food safety, RSA, and venue procedures are followed.
- Working closely with the Venue Manager to keep operations running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a hospitality supervisor or Duty Manager role.
- A positive attitude and strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to stay calm and organised during busy service.
- A hands-on approach—you don't mind rolling up your sleeves.
- Current RSA certificate (required).
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.

- First Aid certificate.
