Baulkham Hills Veterinary Hospital has been a trusted part of the Hills District community for over 50 years. Located in Sydney’s northwest, we are a well-established companion animal practice with a diverse and interesting caseload including dogs, cats, small exotics, birds and wildlife.
This is a casual opportunity with shifts from Thursday – Sunday each week. You’ll be joining a highly collaborative, supportive team of 6 veterinarians and 10 dedicated support team, led by Dr Peta Macarthur (Lead Veterinarian) and Lyn Shephard (Practice Manager), a leadership team committed to wellbeing, development and positive culture. The Role
Required shifts:

Thursdays and Fridays – 11am-7pm

Saturdays and Sundays – 8am-5pm
You’ll be hands-on across the full scope of veterinary nursing, including:

High-level nursing and surgical support

Venipuncture and catheter placement
-
Anaesthetic and surgical monitoring

Dentistry and advanced medical procedures

Reception and general clinic duties as required

IDEXX lab, running bloods in-house
Due to our strong surgical and medical caseload, experience with advanced nursing skills is essential.
About You

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is preferred, not essential (or equivalent, recognised in Australia)

Proven experience working as a Veterinary Nurse

Confident working independently and within a team

Passion for learning, growth and delivering exceptional patient care

Strong organisational and communication skills
