Receptionist at Physiotherapy Practice
Who we're looking for:
Our physiotherapy clinic in Lawnton is looking to hire another receptionist on a casual basis. The role would suit someone looking for approximately 10 hours a week split across 2 shifts (most likely Tuesday and Thursday). There is the opportunity to pick up additional shifts to cover planned and unplanned leave if interested.
We are seeking a positive, proactive individual with a professional presentation. As the first point of contact, we are looking for an exceptional and compassionate communicator both face-to-face and over the phone.

The successful applicant must have the following attributes:
● Excellent customer service skills
● Warm, empathetic and approachable
● Proven experience in reception or face-to-face roles
● Honest and trustworthy
● Highly organised and good attention to detail
● Strong time management
● Confidence to work independently
● Proficient computer skills
A sound understanding of Medicare, NDIS, DVA, Workcover and Private Health Fund billing processes is advantageous but not essential.
Duties may include:
● Greet patients and update patient details
● Schedule appointments in person and over the phone
● Actively manage referrals, missed appointments and cancellations
● Manage patient payments, invoicing and receipts
● General office duties including data entry, scanning and filing
● Liaising with GPs, Allied Health professionals and other stakeholders
● General practice cleaning duties
● Other ad-hoc administrative duties if required
