Your new role:
Starting in December 2026, this is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of major capital infrastructure projects that directly support the future of healthcare across Metro South Health. Working within the Assets & Infrastructure Division, you'll provide strategic leadership and expert project management from project initiation through to completion. You will:
Lead the planning, procurement and delivery of complex, high-risk capital projects, ensuring quality, budget and timeframe objectives are achieved.
Manage multidisciplinary project teams, consultants and contractors while overseeing project performance, schedules, financial outcomes and contract management.
Develop strong partnerships with clinical, technical and executive stakeholders to successfully deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
Drive a culture of safety, innovation and continuous improvement while ensuring projects align with Metro South Health's strategic objectives.
About you:
You're an experienced project management professional who thrives on leading complex infrastructure projects and building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. You combine technical expertise with exceptional leadership and communication skills to consistently deliver successful outcomes. You have:
Demonstrated success delivering complex capital or infrastructure projects on time and within budget using established project management methodologies.
Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project teams while fostering collaboration, accountability and a strong safety culture.
Highly developed communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships.
Strong analytical, planning and risk management capabilities, with the initiative to solve complex problems and deliver practical outcomes.

About the Asset & Infrastructure Division
The Assets and Infrastructure Business Division (A&I) enables Metro South Health to continue to expand its scope and capacity of clinical services through the effective leadership of master-planned facility renewal and redevelopment. A&I undertake infrastructure planning through the development of business cases to deliver on the priorities identified within the Metro South Health Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP). We further deliver the identified Priority Capital Works and Capital Infrastructure projects within defined guidelines.
