Palette & Party is a fast-growing creative workshop and events business delivering hands-on experiences for birthdays, corporate events, private celebrations, weddings, hens parties, community events and more.
We’re currently looking for a confident, creative and reliable Workshop Facilitator / Party Host to join our Melbourne team.
This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people, enjoys creative activities and feels comfortable leading a group in a fun, engaging and professional way.
About the Role:
As a Workshop Facilitator / Party Host, you’ll represent Palette & Party at a range of events across Melbourne.
Depending on the booking, you may be facilitating activities such as paint and sip, craft workshops, terrarium making, kids’ parties or other creative experiences.
Your role will generally include:
- Facilitating creative workshops and party activities
- Welcoming guests and creating a fun, comfortable atmosphere
- Explaining activities clearly and helping participants throughout the session
- Setting up and packing down workshop materials
- Keeping the event organised and running to schedule
- Engaging confidently with children, adults, corporate groups and private clients
- Taking photos/videos of the setup and event where required
- Representing Palette & Party professionally and positively
- Communicating with the team before and after each booking
- Travelling to different venues across Melbourne depending on the event
We’d Love to Hear From You If You Are:
- Confident, friendly and comfortable speaking in front of groups
- Creative and genuinely enjoy hands-on activities
- Reliable, organised and punctual
- Able to take initiative and problem-solve during events
- Comfortable working independently once trained
- Professional when communicating with clients and venue staff
- Flexible with weekend and occasional evening availability
- Happy to travel to different areas of Melbourne for bookings and have a reliable mode of transport.
Previous experience in events, workshops, teaching, childcare, hospitality, customer service, art or entertainment is highly regarded, but not essential.
More importantly, we’re looking for someone with the right personality, warm, proactive, engaging and dependable.
