Responsible for coordinating and strengthening risk management practices across IMTD by supporting branches identify, assess, monitor and report on branch, organisational and strategic risks.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experience Risk specialist to join the Business Services Management Branch in supporting the department's Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) risk functions.
The role is suited to someone with a background within an IT environment who understands technology, processes and systems, and business risks. This is not a cyber security, audit or assurance role. Instead, the position focuses on embedding practical risk management practices across IMTD.
You'll work closely with the IMTD branches, senior leaders, executives, and the departments corporate risk area, to identify, manage and report on risks associated with IMTD service delivery initiatives.

Previous experience risk management and governance in a government environment is desirable but not essential.
