We are seeking a driven, customer-focused Flooring and Window Furnishings Sales Consultant to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will help residential and commercial clients select the perfect flooring and window covering solutions—from carpet and timber to vinyl and hybrid options. Also window Coverings including Blinds, Shutters and Sheers.
Whether working with walk-in showroom customers or visiting clients on-site for home consultations and measurements, you will guide customers seamlessly from initial inquiry through to the final quote.
What We Are Looking For
- Industry Experience: Previous sales experience in flooring, interior design, construction, or retail is highly desirable (though candidates with strong transferable sales skills are encouraged to apply).
- Design Acumen: A keen eye for design, color, texture, and interior aesthetics to help customers select products that complement their vision and space.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read simple building plans, take accurate site measurements, and calculate surface areas.
- Communication & Negotiation: Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and close sales.
- Time Management: Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license (required for site visits).
- Availability: Willingness to work standard retail hours, including scheduled Saturdays (with a rostered day off during the week).
