Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated high level knowledge of germline variant curation and the specific guidelines involved
Technical experience in next generation sequencing and knowledge of subsequent sequencing data interpretation, quality metrics and troubleshooting
Demonstrated ability to apply scientific judgement to interpret genomic results and discuss clinical significance with Pathologists, Clinical teams and external stakeholders
Experience with automation or liquid handling robots within a laboratory
Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of team to ensure efficient workflow, meet turn-around-times and maintain quality
Demonstrated initiative, problem solving skills and innovation within a pathology laboratory
Advanced scientific knowledge and skills demonstrated by laboratory experience, professional development activities, post graduate qualifications or other formal certification.
