About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solid Plasterer to join our growing team. This full-time position involves working on a variety of projects, including precast concrete finishing, patching, and surface repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply coats of plaster, cement render, and similar materials to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Repair damaged or defective wall panels, ceiling panels, and cladding
- Patch cracks, holes, joints, and surface defects using fillers, sealants, and repair compounds
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, sanding, and priming for finishing or painting
- Align, fit, and secure panels to ensure proper finish and structural integrity
- Apply sealants, adhesives, and protective coatings as required
- Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
- Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
- Safely operate hand and power tools (e.g. grinders, sanders, drills)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Skills & Experience
- Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Solid Plastering or equivalent)
- Minimum 2–3 years’ relevant industry experience
- Strong knowledge of plastering techniques, materials, and finishes
- Experience in concrete patching, rendering, and surface repairs highly regarded
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
