About Us
At UniSuper, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional retirement outcomes for our members. With a long history in the University sector, we are a place where future-minded Australians come together.
UniSuper Advice is the Home for Advice Professionals. We provide members with trusted advice that supports confident financial decisions, through personal advice, digital solutions, education and strong partnerships with independent financial advisers. Our work is grounded in professionalism, collaboration, and better retirement outcomes for members.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the heart of our Advice function, supporting advisers to deliver high quality outcomes for members. You’ll be hands-on in preparing advice documentation, working with external fund providers, and implementing recommendations to make sure everything lands accurately and on time.
Working closely with a small group of advisers, as well as external stakeholders such as super funds and platforms, you’ll play a key role in keeping things moving and ensuring a seamless experience from recommendation through to implementation.
You’ll also support members with general enquiries, including face-to-face interactions, helping create a positive and approachable experience. This is a varied role that combines coordination, detail-focused work and problem solving, and offers a strong foundation for anyone looking to build their career in financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support advisers with preparing advice documents, applications and client materials
- Implement financial advice recommendations accurately and efficiently
- Liaise with external fund providers and platforms to manage applications and confirm details
- Act as a point of contact for members, including face-to-face interactions, giving you direct exposure to member engagement
- Maintain and manage client files, records and workflow
- Ensure all work is completed in line with compliance and regulatory standards
Support general office management and ad hoc administrative tasks alongside day-to-day responsibilities

This is a role where attitude and approach matter just as much as experience. You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-moving environment, supporting advisers and working across a range of stakeholders. We are looking for someone who is proactive, open to feedback and genuinely motivated to learn.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- Exposure to financial planning, superannuation or financial services
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
- A client-focused approach and commitment to quality outcomes
A positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and develop
