About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Production Operator with a strong background in food manufacturing to join our Heidelberg West team. This is an opportunity to bring your skills to a quality-focused environment where food safety, teamwork and operational excellence are at the heart of everything we do.
What Your Day Looks Like
- Follow direction from the Production Manager and Team Lead to deliver production targets on time
- Operating and monitoring production equipment to meet safety, quality, and output targets
- Following GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards at all times
- Completing batch documentation and production records accurately
- Performing basic calculations for batching, measurements, and production requirements
- Performing basic troubleshooting and equipment checks to keep production running smoothly
- Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Working closely with the team to deliver on daily production plans
- Identifying, supporting and participating in continuous improvement opportunities
The Ingredients for Success
- Prior experience in food manufacturing or food production environments (highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and quality standards
- Basic maths skills, with the ability to perform accurate calculations and measurements
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
- Proactive, reliable, and hands-on approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting
- Physically fit and able to roll up their sleeves and perform manual tasks (including lifting up to 15kg)
- Forklift license (highly desirable)
