Barista / Bartender – All Rounder

We’re looking for an experienced Barista / Bartender All-Rounder to join our team at The Eate.
We’re currently looking to hire and are open to both casual and part-time arrangements depending on the right fit.
This role may suit someone looking for a second job, with 1–2 consistent days available each week. Casual positions will be paid at the appropriate casual award rate.$30+
For those seeking part-time employment, we can offer a minimum of 8-10 hours per week. Please note that part-time positions require consistent availability on set days each week, as rosters are fixed and not flexible once agreed upon.
If you’re looking for something flexible alongside another role, or a more structured part-time position, we’re happy to discuss what works best.
You must be confident doing both — great coffee in the morning and smooth bar service in the evening — while delivering outstanding customer service throughout the day.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong barista skills (dialling in, consistency, speed)
- Confident making cocktails, pouring beer & handling bar service
- Fantastic communication with customers – warm, friendly, bubbly and proactive
- Able to work independently during quieter shifts
- handle open and closing shifts
- Reliable, organised and a team player
- RSA required
A range of Shifts Available but not but not limited to:
- Weekdays: 9:30am – 2:00pm lunch
- Weekdays :5:30pm - 9:30pm dinner
- Weekends: shifts also available
You don’t need to be available for all shifts — flexibility is available for the right person.
