About Your Way Living
Your Way Living Support Services is a registered NDIS provider based in Edgeworth, supporting participants across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Hunter and the Central Coast. We deliver Supported Independent Living (SIL), assistance with daily living, community access and support coordination, built around what each participant actually wants rather than a template.
We are small, we move quickly and we are growing. This is a chance to own the growth function of a provider rather than be one voice in a large business development team.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our participant base by building genuine referral relationships across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast. You will own the pipeline end to end, from the first coffee with a Support Coordinator through to a signed service agreement and a well matched support worker. You will report directly to the Managing Director.
Available as a full time or part time role, 24 to 38 hours per week, for the right person.
What you will be doing
- Building and maintaining referral relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Local Area Coordinators, allied health professionals, hospital discharge planners, SIL and SDA providers and community organisations
- Generating enquiries and converting them into participant onboardings, owning the full cycle from first contact to signed service agreement
- Representing Your Way Living at expos, networking events, provider forums and community events across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast
- Recording every contact, enquiry and conversion in our CRM so the pipeline is always visible
- Tracking local market activity, referral trends and competitor offerings, and reporting on pipeline and growth against agreed targets
- Working with our operations team so new participants are onboarded properly and matched with the right support workers
- Contributing to marketing, including social media, flyers, provider packs and community campaigns
What you will bring
- Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in business development, sales, account management or partnerships within the NDIS, disability, aged care, allied health or community services sector. This is essential
- Working knowledge of the NDIS, including plan types, funding categories and the roles Support Coordinators and Plan Managers play
- A demonstrated ability to build a referral network in the Hunter or Central Coast
- Confidence starting conversations cold and building trust quickly with a wide range of people
- Self direction and organisation. You can plan your own week, manage competing priorities and own a target without being chased
- Strong written and verbal communication. You can write a clear provider pack and hold a room at a networking event
- Comfort with CRM systems, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Mandatory requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, current or willingness to obtain before commencement
- NSW Working With Children Check
- Current NSW driver licence, own reliable vehicle and comprehensive insurance
- Right to work in Australia
What we offer
- 95,000 to 120,000 dollars per year plus superannuation, pro rata for part time
- Travel reimbursement for work related travel
- Flexible working, a mix of home, office and on the road
- Professional development support
- A direct line to the Managing Director. Your ideas get actioned, not filed
- Real autonomy over how you build the territory across the Hunter and Central Coast
How to apply
Apply with your resume and a short cover letter telling us which referral networks you already hold in the Hunter or Central Coast, and one relationship you have built from cold contact through to consistent referrals.
