Full-time (37.5 hrs/week) – Froebel Carlton

Froebel Carlton is one of 5 early learning services run by the not-for-profit provider Froebel Australia. Located in the heart of Melbourne’s innovation precinct at Melbourne Connect, our purpose-built centre offers 97 places for children aged 6 months to 5 years across three levels of inspiring learning environments.
Since opening in 2022, Froebel Carlton has become a recognised leader in innovative early childhood education and was awarded the Victorian School Design Award for Best Kindergarten or Early Learning Facility. Our educational program is shaped by immersive language learning with Spanish as a second community language, inquiry-based STEM learning through our Little Scientists program, and a strong commitment to education for sustainability aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We actively engage with the Melbourne Connect community and regularly venture beyond the centre through meaningful excursions and community experiences.
We are currently seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

What we’re looking for:

A qualified Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III or Diploma, please note: ECTs will not be considered for this position)
- Someone who communicates thoughtfully and builds trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues
- A team player with energy, initiative and emotional maturity
- An educator excited by immersive language learning and inquiry-based STEM learning (no Spanish required!)
- A strong understanding of and commitment to child safety and ethical practice
- And above all, someone with warmth, positivity, and a heart for children
