As a Sales & Service Representative, your primary role will be focused on on-time product delivery around Canberra (and surrounds) and excellent customer care.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Product delivery and customer care
- Organise the delivery of products using effective territory management
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery and placement of product to customers as per company and customer requirements (routing)
- Deliver P.L.E.A.S.E. promise as determined by Customer type
- Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and on time
- Adjust usual routing following Manager’s instructions when relevant
- Ensure personal presentation standards are maintained (eg Dress Code)
- As the custodian of a vehicle, be responsible for up-keep and maintaining that vehicle according to company policies
Stock Control and Administration
- Complete necessary documentation and loading of product to ensure achievement of agreed departure time from depot
- All stock is checked off prior to loading on vehicle and variances reported to the Manager
- All POD are relevant paperwork is signed and returned to relevant area
- Conduct Vehicle stock-takes in conjunction with Manager
- Ensure stock held in customer locations meets the customer product profile
- Complete regular audits for Consignment Stock Customers
- Adhere to site rules
Sales Growth & Performance
- Sell in and implement promotional programs and new products
- Identify and act on sales opportunities within current customer base
- Identify, gather and assist in development of new business opportunities, increasing actual sales revenue by adding new accounts
Quality, Environmental and WH&S
- Remain up to date with respect to regulations pertaining to the restraint of products when transporting dangerous goods and to ensure company procedures are complied with in regards to these regulations
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Ensure quality internal and external customer service is delivered
- Ensure quality issues and WH&S incidents and/or hazards are reported immediately using designated procedure

Knowledge and Experience

- Proven success in sales in a previous role
- Previous experience in routing and product delivery

- Previous experience in a Sales Representative or Territory Representative role
- Forklift Licence
