JR Packaging is a family-owned business proudly operating for over 45 years. We are a friendly, close-knit team based in Marrickville, and we are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver to join us in a long-term role.
This position includes a mix of warehouse duties, forklift work, order picking and packing, and local Sydney Metro deliveries in our 2-tonne manual flatbed truck.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, physically fit, has a good attitude, and takes pride in providing professional and friendly customer service.
About the Role
Position: Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver
Location: Marrickville NSW
Employment: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Weekend Work: None
After-Hours Work: None
Overtime: May be available once fully trained
Pay Rate
$30.00 – $38.00 per hour, depending on experience, employment type, licences, and suitability.
A potential end-of-year performance bonus may also be available.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of pallets, boxes, rolls, and packaging products
- Driving a 2-tonne manual flatbed truck for Sydney Metro deliveries
- Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Handling cartons and rolls, including occasional lifting of 15–25kg items
- Inventory management and stock control
- General warehouse duties
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse
- Providing professional and friendly service when dealing with customers
Required Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid Australian car licence
- Experience driving a 2-tonne manual truck or similar vehicle
- Manual vehicle driving experience
- A current forklift licence
- Minimum 1–2 years of forklift operating experience
- Good physical fitness and ability to handle warehouse duties
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A customer-focused approach when completing deliveries
Please note: a forklift licence and manual driving experience are essential for this position.
