About the Role
We are looking for an administration superstar who knows the travel industry well and loves what they do. You are a multi-tasker who thrives on different challenges and tasks that keep you busy.
The position is suited to an ‘all-rounder’ who will also be able to work autonomously on coordinating group travel arrangements that range from tour creation; reservations; to tour completion. This is an exciting role, within a fast-paced environment, with no 2 days the same!
The role is full-time – 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday only, with no weekend or night work.
You will be tasked with the following duties:

Handling phone and email reservations and enquiries, is not a sales role.

Contracting third-party suppliers (hotels, attractions etc).

Preparing tour documentation for guests, crew, and suppliers.

Keeping up to date with product knowledge.

Booking airfares on SABRE – must have proven experience.

Research new events, festivals, hotels, itineraries around Australia and create interesting new tours. Package accommodation, meals, and attractions – we offer all-inclusive packages.

Strong administrative background.

Able to confidently book airfares through SABRE, understanding of fare rules.

Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple conflicting deadlines.

Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Exceptional customer service and a genuine interest in interacting with active senior travellers.

Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multitask.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work autonomously within a team environment.
