About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Oncology Dietitian to join our Cancer Care team in Griffith, NSW. The Oncology Dietitian provides specialist nutrition assessment, intervention and support for patients throughout their cancer journey. Working as part of a wider multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care within a supportive regional health service.
As the Oncology Dietitian, you will be responsible for:
Providing a comprehensive nutrition and dietetics service
Ensuring client/patient care is delivered within professional, organisational, legal and ethical boundaries
Providing high level clinical expertise and knowledge in Oncology within MLHD
Maintaining appropriate and accurate activity statistics and documentation.
Involvement in the planning, implementation and evaluation of services and identification, development and leading of quality improvement activities and research with appropriate stakeholders
