Logos Trading is wholesaler of meat and produce. An opportunity exists for a Full Time or Part Time Logistics Coordinator at our Warehouse located in Greenacre.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Office Manager the successful applicant will be required to oversee the supply chain, transport & transport bookings, delivery of goods, ensure shipments arrive on time, and solve transportation issues as they arise to optimize company efficiency and maintain customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Shipment Coordination: Plan, route, and track outgoing and incoming shipments to meet delivery deadlines
- Cost & Process: Analyse logistical operations to identify opportunities to reduce transport costs and improve supply chain efficiency
- Updates: Provide consistent updates to clients and internal departments (e.g., Sales, Purchasing) on shipment status.
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of supply chain software, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Microsoft Excel.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to manage relationships with external vendors and internal teams.
- Strong negotiation skills to liaise with carriers and suppliers effectively
- Multitasking, Excellent organisational skills, able to work independently with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and is a Team Player
- Previous logistics experience preferred
